Apple’s fandom is understandably excited about all the potential launches that could happen at this year’s WWDC event. However, it is unlikely that all your wishes will come true.

As much as we want WWDC 2022 to bring not only new software updates, but also many new technological products, this is not necessarily the case.

While some products may indeed be on display at the event, these are the ones we’re pretty sure you won’t see at night.

AirPods Pro 2

These real high-end wireless headphones have been talked about for a long time, but they are yet to appear. First expected to arrive in 2021, you might think that WWDC will be the perfect occasion for AirPods 2 Pro to make its debut. Unfortunately, we believe that this is unlikely to be the case. Instead, we will probably have to wait until later this year, perhaps in the third quarter, before these pimples are removed.

The original AirPods Pro spoiled our socks with improvements everywhere compared to standard AirPods, especially in terms of ANC, sound quality and design, so we can’t wait to tackle the potential upgrades that might await us.

iPhone 14

If you were hoping to see the next generation iPhone arrive at WWDC, then again, you’ll probably be disappointed. Traditionally, Apple’s latest smartphones are released in September or October, and we expect the same with the iPhone 14.

This year we expect a big difference between the base model and iPhone 14 Pro. The latter is believed to be in line for a more powerful chip and a completely redesigned slot; two improvements that can be missed by his standard brother.

iPhone SE Plus

Around the time the new iPhone SE 3 was released, there were many rumors that such an affordable device could be released in the iPhone XR.

This project may still be in the works – under the name iPhone SE Plus, according to rumors – but we do not expect to see it in the near future. In fact, it may be a year or two before fruiting.

iPad Pro

We were very impressed with the latest version of the iPad Pro, describing it as the best screen we’ve ever seen on a tablet, while it’s hard to exaggerate the power of its muscular M1 chipset. However, another model is expected to arrive this year – but not yet. Again, as with the AirPods 2 Pro and iPhone 14, we expect this model to be released later this year.

13-inch MacBook Pro

Although some experts have been warned about the launch of WWDC 2022, we now expect the latest MacBook Pro to be postponed due to delays in the manufacturer’s schedule caused by the blocking of Covid-19. Mark German of BloombergApple’s machinations expert said the following:

The faster 13-inch MacBook Pro was also scheduled to launch at about the same time as the new Air, but those same blockages in China could throw away that part of the roadmap. When this machine starts up, expect it to look the same as the current 13-inch 2020 MacBook Pro without the Touch Bar.

Given that the last MacBook Pro of this size arrived in 2020, there is certainly an upgrade soon, so its expected version may happen before this year.
