Armie Hammer, the actor currently facing allegations of sexual assault and allegations of other disturbing behavior, is the focus of a new documentary series highlighting his fall from grace and his eccentric billionaire family. The trailer for the three-part series, called House of Hammer, was released on Wednesday, with the docuseries set to premiere on Discovery Plus on September 2.
Multiple women who have been romantically involved with Hammer have accused him of abusive and manipulative behavior, including allegedly posting humiliating and cannibalistic sexual fantasies on social media.
The trailer for House of Hammer features a voice note purportedly sent by Hammer, in which he can be heard saying, “My bet would have involved showing up at your place and completely tying you up and incapacitating you and to be able to do whatever I want to every hole in your body until I’m done with you.”
The women allege that Hammer’s behavior became increasingly intense and controlling during the time each of them spent with him, with the documentary showing text messages purportedly from Hammer saying, “You’re mine! Can you hear me?” and “I own you now.”
Hammer has denied some of the allegations through his lawyers. His talent agency, WME, as well as his personal publicist dropped him last year. Hammer could not immediately be reached for comment.
