Adobe’s Creative Cloud Express toolOriginally intended for people who want to create impressive social media videos, it is now also good for posting these videos.

Tuesday’s update for Creative Cloud Express adds a a feature called Content Scheduler which allows influential people, small businesses and others who want to post graphics and videos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook in one go. The tool, available only through the Creative Cloud Express web application for now, also allows you to view your posts and schedule them to be published in the future.

The tool handles some of the more complex aspects of social media publishing, such as character limitations and auto-completion of usernames. Available as a free tool, but a $ 10 per month subscription adds more fonts, templates, online storage, editing tools and photos.

Adobe has benefited greatly from the transition from licensing individual versions of software packages such as Photoshop and Lightroom to its Creative Cloud subscriptions. Free versions of some of its tools, such as Lightroom and Creative Cloud Express, can entice people into subscription plans.

Creative Cloud Express is aimed at an era when publicity no longer means simply buying ads, said Scott Belsky, Adobe’s chief product officer for Creative Cloud.

“Marketing budgets are rapidly shifting from print and traditional television to social media,” Belsky said.
