Agilisys Appoints Robert Steinson to Enable Digital Ambitions in Scottish Public Sector – TECHNOLOGICAL TRUSTER

Former Assistant Chief Executive Officer of North Lanarkshire joins Scotland Supply Director to focus on the digital transformation of the public sector in Scotland

Agilitythe public sector digital transformation specialist, appointed Robert Steinson as Director of Supply, with a specific focus on Scotland.

Robert joined the North Lanarkshire Council, where he spent the last five and a half years working as Assistant Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Enterprises and Communities. During this time, Robert developed and implemented the council’s digital strategy and led the digital transformation, in partnership with Agilisys, while in charge of Scotland’s largest housing service, a £ 560 million capital program, delivering all first-line services. ownership, planning, entertainment and regulatory services and the special service of Community Councils.

In his new role, Robert will benefit from his deep understanding of the Scottish public sector and work with colleagues at Agilisys to develop a results-focused model that unlocks the benefits of digital technology for all 32 Scottish councils.
