Apple fans are always on the lookout for the company’s next big product launch. The company may be a late entrant, but when it does, it sparks excitement. We saw this with the Apple Vision Pro, which isn’t the first VR headset, but managed to make waves in the tech community. A new leak offers a look at Apple’s potential product roadmap, showing a range of upcoming devices and their specs. Before we begin, this article is entirely based on leaked information, so it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
2024
For this year, the leak comes from Ithome offers the Vision Pro and the OLED iPad, which have already been released. However, we still have the new iPhone range scheduled for release later this year. The leak reveals that the entire iPhone 16 lineup will have 8GB of RAM. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may use a periscope zoom camera with 5x optical zoom. The leak also suggests a larger display for the Pro, which has been rumored for some time now. You can check out our previous article on iPhone 16 series design leaks revealing a 6.3-inch display for the Pro and a 6.9-inch display for the Pro Max.
2025
For next year, the highlight will be the iPhone SE 4. This is a long-awaited pocket device from Apple. The leak states that it will get a 6.1-inch OLED display, which is a big improvement over the previous generation. It may also get a 48MP primary shooter. While for the iPhone 17 series, below are the leaked features:
- iPhone 17 Pro: This model could get a significant camera upgrade with a triple 48-megapixel rear camera system and a 48-megapixel front-facing camera, both equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS).
- iPhone 17 Pro display: We might see a “Pol-less” display, which could make the phone thinner and brighter.
2026
Leaks reveal that 2026 will finally see the unveiling of Apple’s foldable smartphone. It’s been a long time since Samsung made foldable devices. Now even Chinese manufacturers are confident in delivering the foldable devices. Therefore, 2026 seems quite late for Apple. In any case, one thing is for sure that the foldable will be very advanced in 2026 and Apple can further polish the experience. The leak suggests that Apple’s foldable smartphone could have a 6-inch outer screen and an 8-inch inner screen. Other notable leaked features include low-latency, low-power LLW DRAM technology for optimal performance.
The iPhone coming in 2026, namely the iPhone 18 series, will finally bring under-screen facial recognition. This means we will have to say goodbye to Dynamic Island. 2026 may also bring new tablets: a new 10.9-inch iPad Air with an OLED display and an 8.4-inch OLED iPad mini. OLED panels will enhance the tablet experience by improving visual quality. The leak also suggests a MacBook with an OLED display in 2026. It says there will be 14-inch and 16-inch offerings.
2027 and beyond
Interestingly, we haven’t seen any information regarding the Vision Pro in the leak. However, Apple’s leaked roadmap suggests that the company may introduce augmented reality glasses that could change the way we interact with technology. It has been hinted that this will be released in the 2027-28 time frame. There’s also a foldable iPad expected in 2028.
However, it’s an interesting leak of Apple’s roadmap for the future. This gives us an idea of what future products might be, but there is no guarantee that it will turn out to be true. So enjoy the speculation for now and we’ll keep you updated when new products officially arrive. In the meantime, let us know in the comments which of these rumored Apple devices excites you the most.
