Platform for corporate travel reservations Atrium has acquired ReTravelcross-selling technology solution driven by machine learning.

The terms of the deal have not been announced.

In a statement Atriis said the acquisition “further [its] commitment to offering passenger-oriented technology. ”

Israel-based ReTravel, which was founded during the pandemic, envisions what products and services to offer passengers during the booking process.

The company, PhocusWire Hot 25 Startup 2022, will be integrated into Atriis, with its founders Revital Kristal and Nir Gurevich joining as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively.

Crystal says: “It is estimated that business travelers make up 12% of airline travelers, but at the same time account for as much as 75% of profits. Atriis opens up the whole world of business travel to our technology. We will be able to provide offers to corporate travelers within the framework of travel policies, approval flows, single entry and much more! ”

Omri Amsalem, co-founder of Atriis, adds: “As corporate travel returns to a chaotic reality where flights are constantly canceled, call centers with unbearable waiting times and corporations have additional responsibilities to consider, the expiration of the program travel becomes a huge problem. The need for a managed channel approach that puts the passenger first is the only strategy for high living value. Travelers expect this experience, corporations need a different solution and TMC needs to deliver. That’s inevitable. “
