Stuart Hildyard is leaving LaTrobe University after more than a decade
Stuart Hildyard has announced that he will be leaving LaTrobe University after nearly 12 years at the educational institution. IN Post on LinkedInHildiard said that after five years in the CTO and CIO roles, “it’s time for me to refresh and take on a new challenge.”
LaTrobe is currently recruiting for a Deputy who will report to the Chief Operating Officer and is expected to work closely with key senior executives.
Shane Couret has been appointed CIO of BankVic
Shane Couret has joined Australian member-owned mutual bank BankVic as its CIO, Couret announced in a Post on LinkedIn. Couret replaces Scott Wall, who after four years at BankVic will join Bank Australia as Chief Transformation Officer in June 2022.
Prior to BankVic, Couret was Head of Technology at Equipsuper for over two years. He was also the General Manager of Technology at MyLife MyFinance and held several positions at Me Bank during his five years at the financial institution.
Paul Keen leaves Nuix, Alexis Rouch takes over as CIO
Alexis Roach will join software provider Nuix as CIO in August, replacing Paul Keen, who is leaving the company. Ruach joins from IT services and consulting firm Class, where she served as CTO since March 2020.
Rouch has more than 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. She has previously worked for Swift Media, AMP and WorkSafe Victoria among other organisations.

Simon Herbert leaves NSW Customer Service
Simon Herbert has announced his departure from Customer Service NSW, where he was Chief Data Officer from February 2021, having previously held the role of Executive Director of Data and Insights at the department for approximately three years.
Herbert was responsible for data management and analytics capabilities. He announced his departure on LinkedIn and reflects on some of the accomplishments over five years with the department, which include building advanced data analytics platforms using a data warehouse, data lake, scientific data containers, and supporting visualization tools.
