The mass exodus of health workers has prompted providers to seek answers. Employment in industry is declining almost 300,000 from February 2020. This is not due to a lack of efforts to maintain the course; these are workers who often feel overburdened to such an extent that their only option is to leave and find work in another field. The problem is real and the industry has long felt the impact and the consequences. Above half of the surveyed health workers from Ipsos reported a burn, and another 23% said they were likely to leave the field soon. The eviction shows no indication of a delay – suppliers must find a solution.

However, the answer points to the ongoing digital transformation of the entire healthcare industry. Healthcare providers have been slowly and sometimes reluctantly integrating digital solutions into their practices over the past decade. The level of implementation has skyrocketed since COVID-19 and now providers are seeing benefits and impacts. The digital transformation in healthcare leads to positive results, enhances care and improves the experience of patients.
