Elton John is on and off his 2018 farewell tour. However, the iconic musician plans to make his final appearance this fall. And to celebrate a musical legacy spanning five decades, Disney + has announced that it will produce a new feature-length documentary about the life and music of Elton John.
The title of the film is Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road: The Last Performances of Elton John and the Years That Made His Legend. As the name implies, Goodbye The yellow brick road will include videos from John’s last concerts, including his last farewell at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in November 2022. In addition, the documentary will include footage of John covering his entire career, in addition to research on his phenomenal 1970 cycle. until 1975. During this five-year period, John released ten albums, seven of which became hits №1 on Billboard.
RJ Cutler and David Furnish are directing and co-producing the documentary, which will feature unprecedented videos of John at home with her husband and family.

Although this movie will be an exclusive Disney +, Disney Original Documentary will also give Goodbye The yellow brick road limited theatrical edition, as well as “stable festival performance”. This will make him eligible for the Oscars.
Disney + has not announced a date for Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road: The Last Performances of Elton John and the Years That Made His Legend. But coming out in 2023 seems likely.
