Like most farming and social simulators, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a game designed to be played over many months and years, and this is perhaps most evident in its lists of trophies and achievements. Although the lists are small, unlocking each trophy or achievement requires a significant investment of time, and some of the tasks cannot even be completed until the game grows and adds many more characters. Here’s every trophy and achievement in the Disney Dreamlight Valley and how to unlock each one.
Dreamlight Master
Unlock every other trophy in the game to earn this one.
This platinum trophy is only available to PlayStation players and will pop up as soon as you complete any other task below.
Fisherman
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to catch 1800 fish and claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
Catching even a few fish can take a long time, so catching 1800 is quite a task. You’ll probably get about halfway through this milestone by just playing the game normally and completing quests or breeding the right fish to meet the criteria for favorite food for certain creatures (namely crocodiles and foxes).
One tip that might be helpful is to go to Dazzle Beach and just fish in the water without looking for the fishing pools. While you’ll find a lot of kelp this way (which doesn’t count towards your total catch), you’ll also find a lot of low-level fish. Since you’ll only have to press the rewind button once to grab each one, things might move a little faster this way.
cook
To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to cook 900 meals and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
You can cook on a stove by combining each ingredient with a piece of coal. You’ll need to cook quite a bit for quests and fill your recipe list, so many of your dishes should come naturally throughout your time in the game. However, if you want to reach 900 quickly, just use one vegetable or fruit to cook one-star dishes until you reach the milestone.
Best friends
To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to become best friends with 15 of your villagers and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
To become best friends with a villager, you need to level their friendship to rank 10. This is done in two main ways: giving them gifts and going out with them. By giving them all three of their favorite gifts every day and spending time with them doing whatever task they specialize in, you’ll eventually achieve best friend status just by playing the game. If you want to do it quickly, collect an abundance of flowers and give them to the characters you want to level up. It’s kind of slow, but it’s faster than waiting 24 hours.
a gardener
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to collect 4500 vegetables and then claim the reward in the Dreamlight tab.
This can be achieved through natural development over a long enough timeline, but you can speed it up exponentially by digging up a large garden and choosing between one of two methods.
Your first opportunity is to plant and harvest lettuce, which only takes three minutes to grow. This can be a little tedious and requires a lot of micromanaging, but it can speed up the process if you’re trying to get the trophy or achievement in one (albeit long) sitting.
Your second option is to plant tomatoes. While they take 25 minutes to grow, you’ll harvest three tomatoes per plant, making this the more efficient method if you want to do it over several sittings.
miner
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to mine 1800 gems and claim the reward in the Dreamlight tab.
Getting 1800 gems is a huge undertaking and there is no remarkable way to speed things up. You’ll get a lot of them as you farm them for quests, but it won’t be enough to complete the milestone requirement. Just make sure you open each of the biomes before you start farming it for the trophy or achievement, then work your way through each one and back again and again. It will take many, many hours for this to happen, so take a break!
Construction worker
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to build 30 houses for friends and claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
You’ll build houses for friends by following the main story quests and the quests you get when you meet and level up new Disney characters. Since the game is currently in early access, this trophy or achievement cannot be obtained until a total of 30 characters have been implemented.
The assistant of the valley
To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to unlock each biome and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
Unlocking all biomes requires you to get a lot of Dreamlight, which you’ll naturally do while foraging, harvesting, mining nodes, fishing, completing quests, and more. It will take you some time, but by the time you complete most of the main quests and many character quests, it is very likely that all biomes will be unlocked without any problems.
Each biome’s cost and corresponding unlock cost are listed below.
- Plaza: Unlocked as part of the story
- Peaceful Meadow: Unlocked as part of the story
- Dazzle Beach: 1000 Dreamlights
- Forest of Valor: 3000 Dreamlight
- Glade of Trust: 5000 Dreamlight
- Solar Plateau: 7000 Dreamlight
- Frosted Heights: 10,000 Dreamlight
- Forgotten Lands: 15,000 Dreamlight
Goofy’s investor
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to build all the Goofy Stalls and then claim the reward in the Dreamlight tab.
Goofy has a repair stand in every biome except the Plaza, and repairing them will give you access to seeds and ingredients, as well as a new place to sell your own goods. Just approach the sign at each one and pay Scrooge the coins to fix the stand.
Duty Bound
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to complete 1100 Dreamlight duties and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
Dreamlight Duties are ways to earn Dreamlight with little effort and little reward, often making you do simple things like cooking a meal or changing your outfit. You can have six active at once, so when you complete one of them, be sure to claim the reward in the Dreamlight tab to access another new task. Although they require minimal effort to achieve, it will still take you a long time to complete 1100 of them, so consider just knocking them out efficiently while playing the game normally.
Constructor
To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to fully upgrade your home and then claim the reward in the Dreamlight tab.
The ability to upgrade your home will come naturally during Scrooge’s questline. Once you’re able to upgrade, go to the sign next to your home and ask for the job to be done by paying Scrooge a hefty fee. Note that only exterior upgrades count towards this total, so if your goal is just to hit the milestone, don’t bother upgrading your interior with new rooms until you do.
The cost of each upgrade is below.
- Upgrade 1: 2000 Star Coins
- Upgrade 2: 20,000 Star Coins
- Upgrade 3: 75,000 Star Coins
Generous
To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to give friends 540 gifts and then claim the reward in the Dreamlight tab.
You can give gifts to any of your villagers at any time by simply talking to them and selecting “I have something to give you!” Giving them gifts levels them up and they can each receive a total of three rotating favorite gifts each day. However, you don’t have to give them their favorite gifts to count towards that trophy or achievement.
This will undoubtedly come naturally to many players over the course of the game’s life, but you can speed things up by simply giving each character any item in addition. However, flowers are easy to grow and tend to offer decent boosts to character levels, so if you want to get the most out of the process, go for them.
banker
To get this trophy or achievement, you will need to earn a total of 1.8 million Star Coins and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
Getting to 1.8 million Star Coins might sound like a daunting task—and it is, to be honest—but it’s not as bad as you might think. Just sell as much as possible to Goofy, including unnecessary ingredients, crafting materials and fish. Whenever possible, cook your ingredients (especially fish) into the highest star-level dishes possible before selling them, and you’ll end up with enough coins to make even Scrooge jealous.

Chatterbox
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to have a total of 1000 daily discussions and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
Daily Discussions are quick little chats you can have with any character every day. Just approach every hero in your village at least once a day to talk to them and get milestone credits. Of course, with the limited characters available right now, it will likely take months for this to happen.
Thorn remover
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to remove 3000 nightthorns and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
Nightthorns are the evil spikes that you must clear when you reach a new biome. However, it’s likely you’ll end up with just over the total cleared by the time you unlock and clear each biome. Every day though, new nightthorns will appear in random biomes around the valley, so be sure to make your rounds and clear them out. Since you have to clear so many and so few spawns each day, it will probably take you months to complete this, which means there’s a good chance this will be the last trophy or achievement you get.
Photographer
To get this trophy or achievement you will need to take a total of 50 photos and then claim the reward in your Dreamlight tab.
The description for this one says you need to take 180 shots, but it’s actually unlocked by taking 50. Completing this milestone can be broken into just a few minutes by selecting your camera from the tool wheel and taking all the required shots in a row .
