What exactly is a hole? What is the true identity of Autumn? Is it royal from the past? Let’s dive into all these issues and more in the spoiler section below.

Joy in the past

In the penultimate episode (episode 7), Deputy Sheriff Joy stumbles upon a huge rock marked with the symbol of the mining company explored by Royal. Following in the footsteps of the black matter associated with emptiness, Joy enters a forest.

On the other hand, she emerges into the past, where a bison bump is raging in front of her. She notices dents in the distance and realizes that she is no longer in Kansas.

The Great Royal Secret

Also in episode 7 we focus on the story of what happened in Royal’s past. While showing the emptiness of his son Perry, Royal reveals the reason why he ran away as a child.

While hunting, 9-year-old Royal accidentally shot his father in the chest. Unable to drag his father home, Royal wished to disappear … and his dream came true. Royal discovered the void and took the escape route. All this happened in 1886. When he returned from the hole, he traveled to the future, until 1968.

Amy finds Rebecca, then disappears

As Rhett tries to win the rodeo, Amy leaves her grandmother and stumbles upon a stunning discovery: Rebecca. Her long-lost mother miraculously returns, calling Amy for an epic hug.

Amy asks where Rebecca has been all this time, and Rebecca says mysteriously, “I had to hide.”

Before giving a proper explanation, she rejects Amy, to the horror of Grandma Cecilia.

Luke hits the gold

When he finds that the hole is closed, Tillerson’s eldest son digs as many new holes as he needs to find the black dust that has something to do with the physical shape of time. His efforts pay off and he finds the key to his plans to make money. Could this be the beginning of the mining company? Maybe – as long as they can stop the herds of bison from roaming through the passages they unlock.

Autumn is Amy, Amy is Autumn

AHA! We are finally learning the true identity of the Autumn Rivers. Thanks to the scar she and Amy share on their foreheads, Royal connects the dots and realizes that he is about to kill his own granddaughter. Autumn says she has no memories of her life before she was 9 years old. It’s no coincidence that Amy is also 9. Does Rebecca take her through the hole in search of Perry? This is one of the possibilities.

What does the future hold?

Many questions remain to be answered, not least how the hole itself works. While some who enter it appear in the future, others are sent into the past. Perry believes that the hole takes you where you need to go, that there is a “plan”.

The mountain

Do you remember when the mountain disappeared? This coincided with the handshake of Autumn and King. Now that we know they are connected and shifted in time, we may see more Earth-changing events (although seemingly nothing happens when they shake hands in the first episode). Maybe this mountain was teleported for a moment in the future.

Who was Rebecca running from?

Autumn initially brings a lot of money, and later requires more money from a mysterious benefactor on the phone. There may be other parties in the background that we have yet to meet, and they may have had something to do with Rebecca’s disappearance.

This annoying cult

Finally, Autumn is a cult leader in the future, where members wear yellow uniforms. Although it is clear that they want to extract black powder, their big plans are another mystery waiting to be solved. In the first episode, Amy mysteriously paints a picture of what she thinks the sky looks like and looks remarkably similar to the mine and cult members in the future. A coincidence?

It is not known if Outer Range has been renewed for another season and unfortunately the reviews are favorable for mixed. Trips of science fiction mysteries are in vogue right now (when weren’t they?), So hopefully another season will come out of the void to help tie the knot.
