Final Fantasy 14 will finally arrive on Xbox Series X/S on March 21st

Microsoft is offering Game Pass Ultimate subscribers the option to request the Starter Edition of the game at no additional cost between March 21 and April 19. This also has the same content as the free trial. You’ll get the base game and the first two expansions, Heavensward and Stormblood.

There is for both options though. The free trial expires when you reach level 70, although you can continue playing indefinitely. Other limitations include the amount of in-game currency you can carry and the inability to trade items with other players.

Choose the Starter edition and you can exceed the free trial level limit and other restrictions, but you will have to start paying the subscription fee for the game after 30 days (this is in addition to the Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription) . If you’d rather not rush through the base game and the first two expansions, you might be better off sticking with the trial until you’ve finished them.
