Google Chrome extensions will have another year of support for enterprise use after the company’s decision to delay their deletion from the Chrome Web Store until January 2024.

The message (opens in new tab) on the Google Chrome Developer Blog suggests stopping execution for large-scale changes to the Chromium engine that privacy defenders say it will castrate web browser extensions designed to block ads.
