Silicon Valley workers are logging more hours than they did in 2020, but they’re also happier overall.

In a survey of 923 subscribers to The Information, CTOs and employees report feeling more satisfied with their work situations and generally healthier than they were at the start of the pandemic in 2020. The majority of respondents exercise and sleep more and feel more productive in their jobs. This is despite the fact that we are actually spending more time at work than we were before Covid-19 and that approximately 40% of those surveyed plan to leave their current job in the next two years.

With many of us now on at least a partial schedule at the office (here at The Information, we’re back three days a week), we thought it was a good time to check in on tech workers and explore their state of mind during this transition time. Here are the results.
