HMD is shifting its focus from the Nokia brand to its own brand. We recently discussed the upcoming HMD Vibe smartphone for the US market. Now the latest news is about the HMD T21 tablet which is expected to be launched in Europe soon. Thanks to some retailers, we already know the variants and prices of the upcoming tablet.
According to leaked information from NokiaMob, the HMD T21 tablet will be available in three variants. Two of the variants come with SIM card support, while one variant only offers WiFi connectivity.
The LTE 4/64 GB variant costs €256.90 (~$275). The LTE 6/128 GB variant is priced at €302.90 (~$324). Finally, the Wi-Fi 6/128GB variant costs €228.90 (~$244). The tablet is currently speculated to be available in black, but HMD may launch the tablet with more options as well.

With this tablet, the company is also expected to launch the HMD XR21 smartphone. The HMD T21 tablet and XR21 phones may not be entirely new products, but rather rebranded Nokia devices. In fact, the Nokia T21 and Nokia XR21 already exist and the prices are also similar. Therefore, HMD will follow the marketing strategy of rebranding its devices and launch these products in Europe.
HMD T21 Tablet Specifications
Considering that the HMD T21 is essentially a rebranded Nokia T21, it will have a 10.4-inch screen with a resolution of 1200×2000 pixels. It will be powered by the Unisoc Tiger T612 processor. The tab includes one 8MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. In the battery segment, the tablet gets a capacity of 8200mAH with 18W charging support.
Hopefully HMD brings the latest software experience with the rebranded tablet, as the original Nokia T21 was launched in 2021 with Android 12, which is already quite old. It will also be better if HMD does some polishing before releasing this product.
