HMD Global is working on introducing new devices under their brand rather than using the Nokia name. Earlier, the company introduced the HMD Pulse series consisting of multiple models. Now we have new details about the HMD Vibe smartphone, which also seems to focus on the entry-level segment. Let’s explore the design, specifications and pricing of HMD’s latest model.
Design
NokiaMob revealed the specifications along with multiple pictures of the phone revealing its black color option. The HMD Vibe looks similar to the Pulse series, with a square camera module on the back. The module contains two camera lenses with LED flash. In the center of the phone is the HMD branding. On the front, there is a notch with a large chin hole at the bottom, suggesting a budget-oriented design. Overall, the design of the phone looks clean and refined.

Moving on to the specifications of the HMD Vibe, it sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel. For a smooth experience, the company has integrated a 90Hz refresh rate. The rear camera setup houses a 13MP primary sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. This is a fairly old processor with 4G connectivity. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The HMD Vibe gets a battery capacity of 4000mAh with support for 10W wired charging. The phone offers Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5 and 4G communication. In the software department, the phone comes with the latest Android 14 operating system. The phone also offers an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.
Prices and availability
