When can you expect Android 12 to arrive?

The answer to this question can be quite difficult and this is due to the way Android works. Google’s Pixel phones will always be the first phones to receive new versions of Android, followed closely by those brands that use unchanged, “commodity” versions of Android, such as Nokia. But then the release dates come down to how quickly individual manufacturers can create “skins” of their brand for the new version. As such, it takes much longer for brands like Samsung or OnePlus to release their new versions of Android. Fortunately, they are also quite vocal in terms of publications, and we have gathered all this information in ours Android 12 release schedule.

When it comes to whether your phone will get Android 12 at all, this usually comes down to a few factors. The first is age: newer devices are more likely to receive major updates, and as your device ages, you’re less likely to get the next version. The next factor is price: more expensive devices get more updates. Some cheaper devices don’t even get any Android updates, which is something we really don’t like – new versions of Android are vital for ongoing security updates at least and lack of updates can seriously interfere with smartphone life .

If you’re not sure if your phone will receive the Android 12 update, check out our previously mentioned Android 12 release schedule. If you can’t find your phone model in this list, then it’s worth searching Google for your question. to see if there is any recent news about him.

What new features can you expect in Android 12?

Before you actually download Android 12, you’ll want to know if it’s even worth downloading. In short, what do you get from this version of Android that you don’t get from Android 11?

The biggest change is a dramatic change in style. Android 12 was the debut of Google’s new design language called Material You. The buttons are bigger and bolder, with more rounded edges. The growth of huge devices means that Google no longer worries too much about the screen space and this is seen in the design of Android 12. These larger buttons and sliders mean that everything is easier to notice and – most importantly , for many – easier for fast-moving fingers to choose exactly.

Larger buttons mean that the notification panel gets a lot of redesign, and the buttons are now much larger and easier to switch. There are also new privacy controls provided courtesy of the privacy dashboard, which lets you see which apps you’ve given permissions to, as well as a timeline when apps have accessed your location data.

These are some of the biggest new features, but they are not the only ones. Ours The Android 12 news release has a complete breakdown of everything Google has to offer on the Android 12 table.

How to install Android 12

But enough of all this – how do you actually do? Well, start by backing up your device. Major updates like these do not delete your data as before, but accidents do happen and it’s worth backing up just in case. We have a guide backup your Android phone, so be sure to do your due diligence before you start, as no one wants to lose data.

Once this is done, follow these steps.

Stage 1: Open the Settings app.

Step 2: Head to Settings > The system > System update. This is the path of Google phones, but your exact path may vary. For example, on Samsung phones you will simply scroll down until you find Software update in the main Settings menu.

Step 3: No matter how you get there, choose Download and install.

Step 4: Your phone will check for updates. If there is one, just follow the instructions to install it. Keep in mind that your device will restart and take up to half an hour, so don’t start this if you’re expecting an important phone call.

Once this is over and your phone is restarting, you need to use the new version of Android. Congratulations and have fun!
