Have you noticed that no one shares your posts on Facebook? Maybe it’s because you’ve limited who can see them. We’ve put together this guide to teach you how to make your posts shared on Facebook.
There is one tool responsible for ensuring that your Facebook posts reach the right people, and that is audience selection. The audience selection tool controls who can see your statuses and photos both before and after you post them, as well as some of the information found in your account that you may want to keep confidential, such as your email address.
You can use the audience selection tool to choose who can see and share individual posts on your phone, tablet, or laptop, but be careful not to change the audience of the posts you share in your friend’s or family’s timeline. as it is under their control.

How to make a post to share on Facebook
The following screenshots are from the Facebook browser version, but you can do the same in the Android and iOS apps.
Find the post you want to edit
If it’s not in your initial feed, you can go to your account and follow these steps from there.
Click on the three dots in the corner of the post
This will bring up a drop down menu.
Click Edit Audience
The icon looks like two people.
It is! You can also select other settings, such as Friends, Friends except, Specific friends, and Just me.
To make sure your posts are public, before you click submit, open the Create Post window and click the gray drop-down menu below your name. Here you can choose between public, friends, private and more.
To make a post private on Facebook, just follow the same steps as above, but click Just Me instead of Public in the last step.
