Do this for lightning speed (well, almost)

There are two easy ways to increase your speed. First, you can normalize Obtain the Windows auto-tuning level. This feature allows your operating system to continuously monitor routing conditions, such as delays from your network or applications.
It also checks your bandwidth. It helps your OS configure network connections to make the best possible performance. You will want to search for it and see which setting is on. There are several different modes in which it can be turned on, but you will want to set it to “Normal”.
How to set the automatic tuning level to get Windows to normal
Get ready to get a little into the weeds. First, you will want to go to the Windows button and type cmd in the search bar. Choose Command line which pops up. Your screen will look like this:
A new window will appear. Copy and paste this command: netsh int tcp show global. Press enter and you will see your current level.
Your screen will look something like the example below. Note that the automatic adjustment level is specified as normal. For example:
When the Windows auto-tuning level is set to normal, your computer is already in optimal tuning. Maybe your computer shows a different result. It can be said Receive window auto-tuning level: disabled, very limited, limited or experimental.
If it doesn’t say Normal, you need to change it
Fortunately, you can fix this in less than a minute. Copy and paste this into the command line: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel = normal. After pressing Enter, you need to close all open applications. Restart your computer to begin to see the changes.

Follow these steps to turn it off:
- If the Windows scaling heuristic setting is turned on, copy netsh int tcp heuristic set is disabled
- Put it in the command line
- Press Enter. It is now off

However, you may not notice any changes immediately. Be patient and see if your system works differently depending on the network you use. You may see the same speeds at home, but it may be faster at work, for example.
