Innovia Films launches Rayofac CSA46, a transparent, single-sided gloss coated BOPP film, for use in food and beverage. The 46 micron film is approximately 10 percent thinner than most face films, giving it higher yield and an improved carbon footprint.

Rayoface CSA is a high clarity, low haze film that provides improved product visibility and a “label-free” appearance. The material has a very wide print window and is suitable for flexo, gravure, silk-offset and letterpress printing, as well as UV, low-migration and water-based inks.

Alasdair McEwen, Product Manager, Labels said: “The performance of CSA46 means it has excellent cold film adhesion and appearance, enabling eye-catching graphics and label designs for your product. While reducing the carbon impact compared to thicker face foil coatings.”

McEwen added: “CSA46 provides a balanced orientation for improved punching and die life and importantly is also EU compliant for food contact.”
