Decentralized mobility market Iomob has partnered with the sustainability-focused metauniverse Next Earth.

The goal of the partnership is to collaborate in the development of a real-life travel planning service across the metaverse.

Spanish low cost airline Vueling also participates in the initiative, which will enable Next Earth users to track carbon emissions from travel and book carbon-positive options using the metaverse and the Iomob app.

Gabor Retfalvi, CEO of Next Earth, says: “Developing methods to visualize and experience sustainable travel within Next Earth is in line with the natural evolution that underpins our environment. This is a wonderful next step for the platform and evolution of our company. ”

Boyd Cohen, CEO of Iomob, says the company is creating “a transport infrastructure that allows for a more exciting, focused and immersive way to cross the planet.”

In a recent interview with PhocusWire, Boyd Cohen, CEO of Iomob, highlighted the potential for planning real-world travel across the metaverse, as well as other possible uses.

Jesus Monzo, Distribution and Alliance Strategy Manager at Vueling Airlines, says: “Visualization of real-world travel and the carbon footprint of each foot, in addition to using a metauniverse interface to select and reserve the least environmentally harmful a trip never done before ”

The next parent on Earth, Limitless, will work to integrate Iomob with the metauniverse platform.
