JBL Go 4 Portable Speaker with Auracast Technology Launched, Up to 7 Hours of Playtime: All the Details

The JBL Go 4 was released in China after its initial unveiling at CES 2024. It will also be released in other markets later this year. The portable speaker comes with an updated chassis along with a wider and more durable strap compared to the older JBL Go 3. It is said to use 80 percent recycled plastic for the casing and 100 percent recycled fabric for the speaker grille. The mini speaker also allows for multiple connections and comes in six color options.

JBL Go 4 price, availability

The JBL Go 4 is available in Black, Blue, Camouflage, Grey, Red and Purple color options. It is priced at CNY 429 (roughly Rs. 4,900) in China. It’s the speaker available for purchase at an introductory price of CNY 399 (approx. Rs. 4,600) for a limited time. Official sales of the speaker will begin on March 18.

The JBL Go 4 is too set will be available for purchase in select European markets from April this year for €49.99 (roughly Rs. 4,500). Some markets may also see startup from this mini speaker until June.

JBL Go 4 Specifications

The speaker is said to be the company’s smallest portable speaker. The JBL Go 4 supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with LE audio and enables multi-speaker connectivity via Auracast technology. It also comes with an IP67 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The JBL Go 4 is said to offer a continuous playback time of up to seven hours. This can be extended by another two hours with Playtime Boost enabled, according to the company. It has a USB Type-C port for charging. The speaker is also compatible with the JBL Portable app, which allows users to customize playback modes and EQ.
