Check and Detect specialists, Loma Systems, will present their latest technologies in the IFFA inspection solutions, which will take place on 14-19 May 2022 at Messe Frankfurt – the world’s leading fair for meat and alternative proteins attracts over 60 000 trade visitors. Loma exhibits in Hall 12.0, Stand A51.

The display will be the latest addition to Loma’s X5 series of X-ray inspection systems – the X5 SideShoot. Further defining the supply of X-rays, the X5 SideShoot complements existing applications, including the X5 Pipeline X-ray inspection system for pumped and free-flowing product. As a side-by-side X-ray inspection system, the X5 SideShoot is designed for higher products, allowing accurate inspection where top-down and bottom-up X-ray solutions are not optimal.

Loma’s RUN-WET® series will also be on display, consisting of an IQ4 metal detector conveyor and a combined metal detector and checkweigher system. Designed according to the latest EHEDG guidelines, the new machines offer the best cleaning efficiency for heavy-duty washing media. IP69 rated systems can withstand high pressure and high temperature cleaning modes and operate while still wet, thus maximizing production time.

Loma’s range is designed and manufactured to withstand the harshest meat processing environments and intensive cleaning regimes. With over 50 years of experience in designing and building inspection and detection technologies, Loma provides industry-leading equipment, plus expert service and support for the meat and protein industry.
