The company believes the partnership will not only accelerate its carbon-neutral goals, but also lay the groundwork for others to embrace electric mobility.

Home electric car giant Mahindra Electric Mobility has contacted Terrago Logistics. Terrago currently has a fleet of 65 Mahindra Treo Zor trucks, located in the big online grocery store Big Basket in three cities and a leading logistics company Porter.

In the coming months, Mahindra Electric will supply additional Terrago electric vehicles to expand the zero-pollution fleet.

“Terrago was one of the first to use our electric three-wheeled Mahindra Treo For. The higher savings and zero emissions from the Treo Zor’s exhaust make it auspicious for companies looking for efficient and sustainable modes of transport to deliver the last mile, “said Suman Mishra, CEO of Mahindra Electric Mobility.

The company believes the partnership will not only accelerate its carbon-neutral goals, but also lay the groundwork for others to embrace electric mobility, he added.

“Linking Terrago to Mahindra to accelerate the entry of electric vehicles helps us fulfill our social responsibility to the nation to reduce the country’s carbon footprint in our own small way,” said Terrago Logistics co-founder Mohan Ramaswami.
