Award-winning manufacturer of electric tow trucks, MasterMoverannounced the latest addition to its popular Power steering range with the introduction of the PS800+.
Originally created to fulfill an individual customer requirement, the PS800+ has been designed by in-house engineers and has been added to the Power Steered range to meet the growing demands of businesses where customers regularly request individual or customized machines to safely and efficiently steer heavy traffic and/or inconvenient loads.
The PS800+ joins the already popular PS3000+, which has a handling capacity of up to 30,000kg, and its addition to the range offers customers a smaller solution with the ability to move loads of up to 8,000kg.
The Power Steered range features a remote control that allows operators to occupy the optimal vantage point for greater visibility and improved safety.
Multi-Link technology
The Power Steered range includes innovative Multi-Link technology, allowing two or more machines to work together in synchrony. This makes moving particularly long or awkward loads easily achievable. For example, a manufacturer of airplane wings—known as difficult and heavy objects to move—might use two machines on each end of the load to maneuver them carefully and efficiently. Simple remote control operation means only one operator is required, reducing manpower and increasing productivity.

Safety features on the PS800+ include four emergency stop buttons, an audible horn, a flashing headlight with an audible alarm, a wireless transmitter with safe shut-off if the signal is lost or interrupted, a wheel guard that prevents snagging and a hydraulic clutch that provides maximum load security .
