MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – Officials with the Mobile Police Department announced they are investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday, September 24th.
Officials said officers were called to the M&M Food Mart around 8 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports that a person had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a 27-year-old man with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Authorities said they would release the man’s name after notifying his family. This is an active homicide investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Mobile Police Department.
