Omdena has launched a unique Impact Program for Local Communities initiative, the goal of which is to support local communities around the world in building impactful AI solutions. Teams working on real-world problems will have the opportunity to implement their projects with partner organizations.
The “Local Branch Impact Program” is a program where teams from around the world will build impactful AI projects in partnership with NGOs, local governments or other mission-driven organizations. A detailed list of partner organizations will be announced soon on the Omdena website.
The program focuses on three themes: health (mental or physical), environment and sustainability, and digital and good governance.
Omdena will also support the teams by providing free AWS cloud resources and $15,000 in development support to the top three teams.
“This program will help local communities develop real-world solutions through stakeholder engagement. We at Omdena believe this is the right way to build ethical and impactful AI solutions.” – said Veronika Doroka, head of local branches in Omdena.
