Today OnePlus released the official teaser for the upcoming OnePlus 11R smartphone. As a teaser, the Chinese company gave us the gist of some of the specifications we should expect from the smartphone. This turns out to be only the tip of the iceberg. Full details will be out when the device launches on February 7 alongside the OnePlus 11.

OnePlus 11R details

The OnePlus 11R will feature last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The same chipset that the OnePlus 10T uses. This will make it a step behind the OnePlus 11, which will use the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The OnePlus 11R will also feature a vapor chamber cooling system. This looks pretty much identical to that of the OnePlus 10T. However, it will be about 64% larger than the vapor chamber that comes with the OnePlus 10 Pro.

With the OnePlus 11R, users can also configure RAM up to 16 GB RAM. However, OnePlus does not mention other RAM and storage options. When it comes to memory allocation, the 11R will use the RAM-Viat function. This feature uses AI and machine learning to speed up memory reallocation between uses.

Another detail we can talk about is the display, which is set to be an IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This display can automatically adjust to 40Hz, 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. This is quite strange due to the fact that 40Hz and 45Hz have no content to match them. Locking it to 48Hz and 50Hz would be reasonable enough for more common video content like 24fps, 25fps and 50fps.

The OnePlus 11R will also feature a 100W SuperVOOC charger. This provides enough power to charge the 5000 mAh battery from 0 to 100 within 25 minutes.

So far, these are the only details we have about the upcoming OnePlus 11R. On February 7, we will see the rest of the specifications when the device is released. It will be available alongside other OnePlus products such as OnePlus 11, OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro.
