ORANGE BEACH, Alabama (WKRG) – The next time you’re in the water, you may see a new boat there. Orange Beach police stressed purchase of a new police boat in a Facebook post this week.

According to the publication, officers from the Marine Division went to Janet, Louisiana to pick up the new boat and retrieve it back to Baldwin County.

The publication says: “This is very good equipment, which was obtained with a grant for security at the port.” The publication says that this is the necessary equipment for, in their words, “the protection of paradise skillfully.” Police ships are often in the water looking for boats with disabilities or boats in distress.
