Many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) turn to managed service providers (SMEs) to help fill security skills gaps and help with common IT needs.

“SMB’s IT spending is estimated by analyst firm Gartner at $ 1.2 trillion, up 4.6 percent on a compound annual growth rate,” said Pat Hurley, vice president and general manager of Sales Americas at Acronis. “In the same way that you test SMEs, it’s good to know how that provider is testing new solutions to offer to its customers,” says Hurley. “Accordingly, be sure to ask for recommendations from customers.”
