Realme India is launching its new GT 6T smartphone in India. For those who don’t know, Realme’s GT-branded smartphones are often aimed at the upper mid-range market. For those who don’t know, the Realme GT 6T is a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6 SE. The SE model was launched in China in April this year. That was it officially confirmed that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. This is the same chipset powering the Realme GT Neo 6 SE. Moreover, the company also announced that its upcoming phone can cross 1.5 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. That’s a decent result and a big hint that Realme is targeting people who want high performance from their phones. Therefore, the target market is gamers and heavy users. Talking about the launch, Realme GT 6T is coming to India on May 22, 2024.
Expected specifications
As mentioned above, the GT 6T is a rebranded GT Neo 6 SE, hence we can expect identical specs in both phones. If this remains true, the Realme GT 6T will sport a 6.78-inch OLED display. A smooth 120Hz refresh rate further enhances the display. The phone will also offer a peak brightness of 6,000 nits to make the screen visible in strong sunlight. The phone will feature Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.
The phone will support a dual-camera setup on the back, featuring a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calls, 32MP will be enough. Finally, the GT 6T will have a 5500mAh battery with 100W fast charging. The phone is expected to be priced below INR 30,000, approximately USD 359.
