Now in full swing, the Discover Samsung event has kicked off and Samsung is offering up to $1,500 off a powerful 8K TV.
Starting at 9am ET, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K Smart TV will be available for $6,999, a savings of $1,500 or 18% off the typical retail price of $8,499.
This 85-inch QLED display from 2022 comes with an Infinity Screen and a near-invisible bezel, and is filled with Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology Pro, a network of specialized LEDs to display a billion colors with precision, enhancing color and contrast. The tech giant has also implemented an AI-backed processor running 20 neural networks to develop a display that’s far more immersive than 4K builds.
Display sizes range from 65″ to a whopping 85″, with prices to match. While an 85-inch TV is probably overkill for many of us, and 4K is currently the typical resolution that new smart TVs come in, it’s possible that 8K will one day become our new standard.
8K TVs, thanks to their crisp, vibrant colors, clarity and enhanced depth, are indeed expensive, but with offers to upgrade to millions of pixels, buying now will future-proof your viewing for years to come.
The Discover Samsung the sale is for a limited time only, running between September 12th and Sunday, September 18th. The week-long event aims to showcase Samsung products, with a special focus on eco-friendly (“green”) deals. This year, the tech giant is also featuring flash sales that will be available for just a few hours, from 12-3pm ET, each day.
