Tata Motors Bags The largest order for EV fleet in India

As deliveries begin soon, these vehicles will be used nationwide for travelers, which in turn will help minimize the carbon footprint

Tata Motors said it has received an order to supply 10,000 XPRES-T EV units from BluSmart Electric Mobility. The deployment of 10,000 units makes it the largest order for an electric fleet in India, a statement from the car company said.

As deliveries begin soon, these vehicles will be used nationwide for travelers, which in turn will help minimize the carbon footprint.

“Tata Motors is taking active steps towards the rapid electrification of mobility and it is encouraging to see well-known fleet aggregators join the wave of green mobility with us,” said Shilesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles.

The company is happy to continue its relationship with BluSmart Electric Mobility, as 10,000 XPRES-T EVs (electric vehicles) will be deployed across the country, he added.

“With our $ 50 million A-Series fundraiser, we are encouraged to expand rapidly at NCR in Delhi and metro cities. We are grateful to Tata Motors for launching our trip to expand at a rapid pace, “said BluSmart Electric Mobility co-founder Anmol Singh Jagi.

The company has traveled 50 million kilometers and delivered more than 1.6 million zero-emission trips with increased customer experience on its platform, he added.

“We are building a large-scale integrated EV mobility ecosystem in India – from the country’s largest all-electric mobility service to the largest network of super hubs for EV charging,” Jaggi said.
