The adoption of multi-cloud promises wide access to vital services such as application upgrades, unified security, advanced data services and unified operations. But it is easy to get lost without proper planning.

This should be extended to application-based security, security in and between multi-cloud environments, as well as the ability to provide a secure software supply chain that ensures that applications are compatible while running in a variety of different clouds.
