The boys The season 3 finale trailer is here. On Wednesday, the official Twitter page dedicated to the Amazon Prime Video original series shared a teaser trailer for the eighth and final episode of the superhero show’s third season The boys with a post that read: “Scorched earth. Shock and terror. Blood and bones. #TheBoysFinale”. The 27-second trailer opens with a chilling sequence where we see silent assassin Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) sharpening a weapon. Homelander (Antony Starr) soon tells him that his attempts are futile as the object will not be able to hurt Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles). We then see the “first superhero” and vigilante William “Billy” Butcher (Karl Urban) as they prepare for what appears to be a final battle.
The trailer for The boys The Season 3 finale, unsurprisingly, didn’t reveal any details about the episode’s plot, nor did it contain any hints about Homelander’s fate.
Starr recently said Collider that even he has no idea what’s in store for his character: “As for his [potential] death, I don’t know. Every time I try to pick what might happen in the future, I’m wrong, so I’ve given up speculating. I’m just like, ‘You know what? I’ll leave that to the writers and save myself the embarrassment of being wrong over and over and over again.”
The boys season 3, as promised by showrunner Eric Kripke, has been a wild affair so far thanks to the character of Soldier Boy and the episode “Herogasm”, which was not “suitable for all audiences”. I’m passing by The boys season 3 finale trailer, the latest episode promises to be an action-packed affair that could match — or even exceed — the standards set by the previous ones.
The boys season 3 episode 8 comes out July 8 on Amazon Prime Video.
