Microsoft has opened its non-E3 showcase Xbox and Bethesda with a deeper look Redfall. Arkane Austin’s cooperative vampire shooter was due out this summer, but was postponed until the first half of next year. Meanwhile, many more details about the game have been revealed.

Redfall is located on the island of the same name off the coast of Massachusetts. It is full of vampires and cultists who want to be transformed (ie known). The vampires blocked the sun and caused the tide to recede, making it impossible for those on the island to escape.

Fortunately, you will have a rich arsenal to fight your enemies as you try to cleanse the island of evil. Some of the weapons have unique features. Along with the usual old weapons, you will have slightly more traditional weapons to defeat the vamp, including a launcher and UV beam.
Redfall comes to PC, Xbox consoles and Xbox Cloud Gaming in the first half of 2023.
