Realme entered the tablet business in 2021 with the original Realme Pad. Those expecting something big were quite disappointed to see a budget tablet with Helio G80 SoC. However, the focus of the product was to be accessible and useful, especially during periods of home study and homework. In addition, we can say that Realme first tests the segment with a modest product. The results were quite positive, however, Realme’s sister brands such as Oppo and Vivo released their first tablets this year. Realme has already released the Realme Pad mini, which is placed even lower than the conventional Pad. Now, the company seems to be ready for his third tablet – Realme Pad X. This one has an attractive name and believe me, it will be the best of the band.

Realme Pad X is coming soon

First of all, Realme Pad X has a unique style compared to other Realme pads. In fact, it looks very different when we look at the whole segment of tablets. According to reports, the board will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This processor is the favorite choice for the tablet segment. After all, Oppo and Vivo use this SoC on their respective tablets. Even Xiaomi’s Pad series uses this particular Qualcomm platform. After several leaks, the company confirmed that its third tablet will debut on May 26 in China.

Interestingly, the Realme Pad X is considered a “mid-range” tablet. Well, the Snapdragon 870 SoC certainly has an architecture from 2020, but we believe it is still better than most chips on the market. The device will be released as Realme Pad X in China. Other markets are likely to be the softly rebranded Realme Pad 5G. Prior to the official presentation, Realme has already confirmed the design of the tablet with a launch poster. He also reaffirmed support for the stylus, which is likely to come as the Realme Pencil. The tablet will have a checkered flag print on the back. The device will have a rear camera with artificial intelligence capabilities. Its thickness will be only 7.1 mm and will offer support for SIM cards. It has a front face to click, which makes use in landscape mode comfortable.

The alleged specifications of the Realme Pad X.

Realme Pad X will have a large 11-inch LCD screen with 2.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with an Adreno 650 GPU. Last but not least, the device will have an 8360 mAh battery.

Given the design and specifications, Realme seems to have lost the ability to call this Realme Pad GT or Realme GT Pad. But that’s just my opinion.

Realme Pad X launch is scheduled for May 26
