The Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones will reportedly support the satellite connection feature like the iPhone 14 line. Samsung may introduce its next-generation Galaxy S-series smartphones in February 2023.

The Galaxy S23 series may include the standard Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra. The company is still considering its plan to launch new flagship phones early next year.

Meanwhile, key details about the S23 range continue to emerge online. A new leak suggests that upcoming Samsung phones will copy a feature of the iPhone 14.

The Galaxy S23 series can support the satellite connection function. Ann ETNews the report claims that Samsung has been working on Iridium Communications for two years now.

Tipster RGcloudS recently revealed that the S23 series will have an eye-catching display. In fact, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is likely to beat the iPhone 14 Pro in terms of maximum brightness.

With Iridium Communications, S23 users will be able to send low-resolution text and photos via satellite communications. On the other hand, voice and high-speed data communication require large antennas.

So it is a difficult task to equip smartphones with these antennas. Still, Apple brought the satellite feature to the iPhone 14.

The feature is only available in the US and Canada. Now some reports indicate that Huawei will use Beidou satellites to provide a similar feature to its upcoming devices.

It is not yet clear whether this S23 range will get the satellite connectivity feature worldwide. Samsung may restrict this feature to only a few countries like Apple.

Past leaks have indicated that the S23 series will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. All three phones will get 120Hz refresh rate support. They will run Android 13 with One UI 5.0 on top. All the S23 series phones may feature the same 32MP selfie camera.

However, the S23 Ultra will get a 200MP primary camera. It will have a 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP telephoto camera. Finally, there’s also a 10MP telephoto camera on the back.
