OKALUSA COUNTY, Florida (WKRG) – Officials in the Ocalusa County Sheriff’s Office said they had arrested a second person wanted in connection with the May 16 shooting at a bar in Mary Esther.
Maricia Knox, 32, was arrested for shooting a man in a car in the parking lot of Cash’s Sports Page Lounge in Mary Esther, Florida. According to lawmakers, Knox is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a crime of probation.
Knox defendant Chris Seymour was arrested earlier in the week. Seymour has been charged with assault. Twenty-seven shell casings were found in the bar.
On May 19, officers at the Fort Walton Beach Police Department saw Knox in a business vehicle in the area. She tried to escape, but officers managed to capture her. Now Knox is also facing charges from the FWBPD.
