San Francisco, June 5: Google’s proprietary YouTube Music application adds a new feature that allows users to manage group songs more easily, especially when adding them to specific playlists.

As noted by a Reddit user, the music streamer’s web interface now offers the option to select multiple songs in a list view, Android Central reports.

The new feature makes it easy to select multiple items that users want to include in a playlist. YouTube now highlights the most replayed parts of videos to allow users to skip boring parts: report

Users can do this by clicking the new checkbox on the right side of a song list. Holding the mouse cursor over a title should select the check box and they can control as many items as they want.

The YouTube Music web app interface will then show several options at the bottom, including the ability to add selected songs to a playlist or play after the current play. An overflow menu appears next to these options, the report said.

Prior to the last change, users had to manually add a song to a playlist by clicking the three-dot menu next to the thumb / up icons.

The overflow menu contains several options, such as adding a song to the queue or a specific library.

However, the feature does not seem to be widely available at this time. It is currently only visible to a small number of users.
