Four weeks after the launch of the V30, vivo has officially unveiled the V30 Pro, a more premium version with a focus on performance and photography. This global phone boasts a quad camera system, a powerful processor and a sleek design.

The V30 Pro shares its display, battery and charging capabilities with the V30. As well as the China-exclusive S18 and S18 Pro models. This 6.78-inch AMOLED display offers a vivid 10-bit color experience, 1260p resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also boasts a peak brightness of 2,800 nits for improved outdoor visibility.

However, the V30 Pro makes a significant leap in performance over its sibling. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, a powerful 4nm platform that provides significantly improved processing capabilities compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the standard V30. Users can choose between two configurations. 8GB RAM with 256GB storage or 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.

The camera system, developed together with Zeiss, is a major highlight of the V30 Pro. It features a quad-camera setup, with a 50MP Sony IMX920 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP Sony IMX816 portrait telephoto lens. This impressive range is further complemented by Zeiss expertise, including features such as Natural Color, Border Watermark and Zeiss Style Portrait for enhanced photo and video quality. The phone also features a unique rectangular Aura Light that provides softer, more even lighting for low-light portrait shots.

The V30 Pro comes in four stunning color options: Bloom White, Waving Aqua, Lush Green and Noble Black, each offering a unique design aesthetic. While the phone has been confirmed for launch in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Taiwan, pricing and specific availability details for each market are yet to be revealed by vivo.
