Vivo is preparing to launch the X100 Ultra and X100s models. The X100 Ultra, as the name suggests, will be a flagship smartphone. While the X100s will also serve as a high-end phone; a slightly polished version of the standard X100. We’ve covered leaks and rumors about the upcoming phones, and now we can take a closer look at the phones thanks to a new poster.
A new poster is circulating on the Chinese site Weibo introducing not only the Vivo X100 Ultra but also the X100s model. The X100 Ultra is on the left with a natural titanium-like color option. On the right side, the X100s is visible with a green tint.
Gizchina News of the week
The poster reveals the phone’s rear design, which appears to include the circular camera module seen on the standard X100 model. However, the two phones have different camera layouts. There appear to be three sensors for each ZEISS-branded phone. The Vivo X100 Ultra was also recently certified, suggesting that the phone’s launch is imminent and will happen sometime this month. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the highlights of these devices.
Vivo X100 Ultra
The upcoming flagship from Vivo is expected to come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED E7 2K 120Hz display. The Ultra model will feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Also, the focus of the phone will be its camera department. Earlier leaks suggested a 200MP periscope lens, which would be paired with a 50MP main and 50MP ultra-wide lens.
Vivo X100s
Think of the Vivo X100s as the upgraded version of the original X100. It will feature the same camera configuration, but there will be some differences. For example, the phone will have a flat edge design and will have a flat display. It is also confirmed to have the all-new Dimensity 9300+ chipset. This will be the overclocked version of the original Dimensity 9300 and has decent scores on AnTuTu and Geekbench.
