Vivo is all set to launch the X100 Ultra and X100s smartphones this month. Vivo has been teasing the impressive camera capabilities of these phones. Now that we’re close to launch, we have more news regarding the upcoming devices. Vivo has now officially revealed the sample cameras of the Vivo X100 Ultra and X100s models.
Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Vivo Brand revealed new information about the device of Weibo. The new teasers show the Vivo X100 Ultra in a Natural Titanium-inspired color, while the X100s features a green hue. The phone takes DNA from the original X100 series. Hence, the models come with a similar round design of the camera module. The difference, however, is that this time the company will offer a flat display for the X100s model.
Along with the teaser, Jia Jingdong also revealed the camera capabilities and other details. Let’s take a look at them briefly below.
Camera Vivo X100 Ultra
The X100 Ultra is named “Image Thanos”, inspired by the Marvel character Thanos. Additionally, the company has created six telephoto options inspired by the six Infinity Stones. Vivo X100 Ultra’s infinity stones are high-speed sports, low-light portraits, polar starry sky, extreme macro, telephoto sun and telephoto scene.
Gizchina News of the week
The Vivo X100 Ultra features a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto with HP9 sensor. The phone also features a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main camera with CIPA 4.5-level gimbal stabilization. Vivo has also partnered with Zeiss and top vendors for the camera improvements. In addition, the company also uses its own Blueprint imaging technology and V3+ imaging chip.
Vivo X100s
The Vivo X100s will be a polished version of the classic X100 smartphone. The main change is that it will offer a flat display. In comparison, the original X100 models used curved displays. Additionally, the smartphone will also bring the Dimensity 9300+, the overclocked version of the original Dimensity 9300. Earlier, we had a look at the AnTuTu and Geekbench scores of the Dimensity 9300+ and it was impressive.
Also, the X100s seems to bring new software improvements rather than hardware in the camera department. The Vivo representative reveals that the phone will have a new humanistic street photography mode for SLR-like control. In addition, it will also offer the latest Four Seasons Portrait Mode.
However, the Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo 100s models will be launched sometime this month. We hope to see a launch date from the company soon.
