of Ireland Vyta Group acquired the Essex-based IT disposal company FGD, following a £ 11 million investment from MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland (MML).

FGD will rebrand under the name Vyta Group. Its 37 employees, including co-founders Lee Medhurst and Daniel Elson, will join the group, increasing Vyta’s team to more than 120 in its expanded network of offices in Belfast, Dublin and Essex.

Vyta estimates that the target market for its services in Ireland and the United Kingdom exceeds £ 300 million, with additional market opportunities in Europe. The acquisition is the first in Vyta’s strategy to consolidate the market, as it aims to increase its market share organically, while acquiring IT disposal companies with similar ideas. This will be vital to expanding Vyta’s geographical reach as a premium IT asset provider (ITAD) and the company now expects revenue to reach £ 16 million by the end of its fiscal year ending 31 May 2022, compared to £ 7 million in the previous financial year. Vyta expects to reach revenues of £ 30 million by May 2026.
