MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – Scattered storms are possible tonight and early Friday morning. Some may be strong and cause gusty winds.
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCHING is in effect for Clark, Monroe and Monroe counties in Alabama and Greene County in Mississippi
Isolated strong storms are possible overnight as a complex of thunderstorms develops to the south. These storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour. Heavy rain and frequent lightning will also be a problem. The line of storms will likely weaken after crossing Interstate 84.
Showers and storms will continue into Friday morning. Storms will be a bit more isolated and localized for the rest of the day on Friday. Remaining clouds will keep temperatures slightly below average with highs around 80 degrees.
The chance of rain is still diminishing through the weekend. Highs will reach the lower and mid 90s with morning lows in the 70s.
