The Windows development team has released a new preview version for Windows Insiders on Dev Channel. Unlike the latest build, today’s Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25120 is also available for ARM64 devices.
Windows 11 Insider Build 25120 offers an experimental feature: a search box displayed on the desktop that allows you to search the web. With Dev Channel, the company is now beginning to test conceptual features that may not always reach stable versions.
ISOs are also available for this compilation, so you will be able to clear the installation. Just head to this connection To download.
Windows 11 Insider Build 25120: Changes and Improvements
[General]
As described in our blog post hereWindows insiders who use the Dev Channel can try out new ideas, longer features, and experiences that are designed to help validate concepts. Starting with this preview version, some insiders will see one of these conceptual features when we start exploring the exposure of slightly interactive content on the Windows desktop. Today, Windows displays this type of content in the Widgets dashboard. To begin evaluating this general idea and pattern of interaction, the first study in this area adds a search box displayed on the desktop that allows you to search the web.
Example of interactive desktop content.
If you want to remove this search box, you can right-click on the desktop, select “Show more options” and switch the “Show search” option.
We’re excited to hear your feedback on this interaction model, so please use the feedback center to provide feedback if you receive this experiment.
NOTE: A reboot is required after updating this build to trigger this experience, but keep in mind that not all Windows Insider users will have this experience enabled even after a reboot.
