Update
Avowed sparked some rumors before the show thanks to a tweet deleted by industry veteran and insider Jason Schreyer. You can view the screenshot here NeoGAF (opens in a new section) . The tweet reads:
“Avowed has gone through some reboots and changed directors quite recently. I don’t know if it will be there today, but I wouldn’t expect to play it for a while.”
This was in response to someone who hoped to hear more about the upcoming first-person fantasy RPG from Obsidian. Schreier probably deleted the tweet because it was targeted fairly quickly. It was followed by an update to ResetEra (opens in a new section)saying
“Just to repeat:”I have no idea if the game will be shown today, but last year went through a major change of leadership and was restarted several times. “
