Microsoft and Atlus said today for which the extension passes Persona 3 Reloaded will be available on March 12. The pack will include DLC for the final chapter of the story, Episode Aigis -The Answer-, which arrives in September. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can get the Expansion Pass for free with their membership.
In original Persona 3it was called the epilogue The answer in the English version and Episode Aegis in the Japanese version, leading to the combined title in the remake’s DLC. Like the base game, the DLC will transform the original story with “cutting-edge graphics, upgraded quality-of-life features, and all the upgrades that come with Persona 3 Reloaded.”
The DLC’s story begins in a Groundhog Day-style time loop. “After unraveling the mysteries of the Black Hour, fighting epic battles across Tartarus, and all the unforgettable events of Persona 3 Reload, the members of SEES find themselves trapped in an endless March 31st,” wrote Xbox Communications Manager Michael Carven. You’ll play as Aigis, a humanoid android with Persona summoning abilities.
“Persona 3 Reloaded wouldn’t be complete without Episode Aigis – The Answer-, writes lead producer Kazuhisa Wada. “Epilogue is sure to satisfy both those who have played the original Persona 3 FES and those who are just getting started.”
The expansion pass will also add new music and costumes. The updated songs will include remixes and “fan-favorite songs from previous Persona titles.”
Microsoft says Persona 3 Reloaded is developer Atlus’ fastest-selling title, surpassing a million sales in its first week.
