The Infinix Note 40 5G series is set to launch globally on March 18. The company has not yet confirmed the models that will be featured in the range. From previous leaks, we can expect the entry-level Infinix Note 40, Note 40 Pro 4G, Note 40 Pro 5G and the top-of-the-line Note 40 Pro+ 5G. Some of these phones were previously spotted on multiple certification sites, which also offered some key specifications of the alleged phones. Now the company has also confirmed the India launch of the Infinix Note 40 series.

The company has confirmed through a press note that the Infinix Note 40 5G series will soon be launched in India. However, it is yet to announce a launch schedule or even the names of the models that will be introduced in the Indian market. An official teaser on YouTube shows a phone with what looks like a shiny gold finish and a rectangular rear camera. Here, the company has also teased ‘AI Active Halo Lighting’, claiming that the series will be the first in India to offer the feature.

The company explains that Active Halo is an AI-powered feature that will integrate voice commands and other features with lighting effects. It can be used to match incoming calls, notifications, charge, play games, play music and interact with the voice assistant “Hi Folax”. With the “Hi Folax” wake phrase, users can use the “Active Halo” command and customize its functionality.

The “Active Halo” function has three customizable light effects – Vivid, Rhythmic and AI. Users can use them to match their moods and preferences. It can be customized into a lively animation for certain notifications, a rhythmic display for playing music, or different patterns to indicate incoming calls.

While nothing more is known about the Indian variants of the Infinix Note 40 series, the global models are was annoying to boot with 3D curved AMOLED displays. The company has too confirmed “MagKit, the ultimate magnetic solution on the go” for all upcoming global Note 40 phones.
