Instagram doesn’t work for a few users globally; Facebook users are also reporting outages

Several Instagram users reported an outage, and Downdetector, the website that tracks problems and outages in real time, confirmed it. Additionally, Meta’s Facebook services also appear to be down, with several users reporting login issues.

At the time of writing this story, Downdetector had over 29,000 people reporting problems with Instagram, while around 16,000 users reported similar problems with Facebook on the platform. Some of our team members tried to open Facebook in the app and in the browser, but we were all logged out.
